Bye Bye Benton

Well, last night we said bye to Benton for 10 weeks as he starts his Marine training. Benton is Bryon's roommate from college and a dear friend. After working in sales for a year he felt a real calling to "do something more." We are very proud of his decision to go to the Marines. We're really in shock that Benton could spend the next few years of his life as a tank commander or a sniper on the front lines over in Iraq or Afghanistan. We're definitely praying for his protection and safety. We had a couple of going away get togethers over the last couple of days. The best part of all was when Remy had everyone at the party give toasts to honor Benton and then close with a group singing of the National Anthem....so hilarious. Well, three cheers for Benton, our brave soldier.
