happy birthday, campbell

my baby girl turned one on July 20th. needless to say, i was not quite ready for that day. something about my baby turning into a toddler makes me want to freeze time. however, she is at a very cute age and her precious personality is just blooming. i love her.

happy birthday to my little love. you make me a better person. having you in my life has changed me forever for the better. you daily make me and your daddy laugh. we are constantly in awe of how you are growing, changing, and learning daily. we love you more than words can say! xoxoxo.

and even though i never did those precious month to month posts like i wanted to but never got around to it, i thought i would share a few things campbell is doing/saying now...at age 1.
-crawling and cruising everywhere
-has taken 4 steps max, but is not too sure she wants to walk yet (i am just fine with this)
-getting into EVERYTHING (toilet, bathtub, bookshelf, pantry, trashcan, cabinets, dresser drawers, closets, tv stand, you name it--she is in it)
-saying Mama (her first word), Dada, bye bye, night night, ball, book, bird, bath, keys
-jibber jabbers to herself all the time (so cute)
-loves looking at books and reading to herself
-dances when any music is turned on
-has the cutest belly laugh and laughs ALL the time
-8 teeth in the front (4 on top and 4 on bottom) and working 2 top molars (ouch)
-19lbs 13oz, 29inches long (petite little thing)
-has started watching a little sesame street and loves it (we watch it during lunch and it is a great distraction technique to get a few extra veggies in)
