blogging and baylor...

i really do have good intentions of keeping up this blog, taking pictures, and posting them. but i can't seem to keep up with everything else in life so this gets pushed to the 'back burner.' aside from that i can't find my cord to hook the camera to the computer so all of my pics are stuck on the camera with no transfer to the world wide web via our little dell computer. another bummer is that i took my camera to waco in order to take some fabulous pics of our fabulous homecoming weekend, but the battery died and well, i can't find the charger. holy moly... i need to get it together.

so just take my word for it that Baylor was great. our weekend made me miss the care free college days so much. bryon and i got to see many friends from school and we also got to spend time with our families. the only thing that made me a little sad is that most of my college besties now live all over the u.s. so seeing them at homecoming did not happen. baylor isn't the same without your besties, but we still had a blast.

my brother, allen, just finished pledging KOT and he is SUPER KOT! i guess we all were overly involved/excited right when we got in the fraternity/sorority of our choice and we were blinded to the fact that it was all we talked about, thought about, planned for, and looked forward to. our wardrobe even revolved around what shirt, hat, shorts, fleece, socks, flip flops we would wear with that precious emblem that told the world the organization we belonged to. AND we were ever so careful to NOT be 'double greek-double geek.' anyway, i am super excited for allen and can't wait to see him flourish throughout his BU years. i especially can't wait to see him dance it up in SING '09. by the way the KOT float this year won the Judges Award and it was awesome. the theme was Peter Pan and every bit of the float was uber detailed. way to go guys! i'm sure you stayed under the $5000 budget! he he.
