one happy family: long overdue update on little cami...

I cant believe I haven't really blogged about our sweet Campbell and how she has changed our lives so much. It has been so much fun staying home with her and watching her grow and change. I am constantly in AWE of the goodness of God and I feel so overwhelmed by his love...that HE would choose ME to be the mother of such a perfect example of his creation. It is an indescribable and overwhelming feeling to hold her and think about her little life and how I am responsible for guiding her along the way.

She has already began to develop her little personality. She is such a GOOD baby. People have told me that since she was first born and not having anything to compare it to I just said thanks and went on. But I really believe it now. She has slept through the night since about 4 weeks. She is so good in her car seat...she loves it in there and basically falls asleep every time she is in the car. And then when she is out shopping with me she is so content to be in there awake or asleep. She is a good eater and really got the hang of breastfeeding after about 2 weeks. She is has been smiling for a few weeks and is now starting to coo and sort of laugh. It is just about the sweetest thing.

We are so fortunate to have wonderful family and friends that have supported us along the way. My sweet mom came for a week after she was born and was the greatest help. My parents/siblings have come to visit so many times and we love having them. Bryon's parents/siblings are close and we get to see them pretty frequently too. We are so blessed. Our wonderful friends have loved on Campbell since she was born. She is like the little mascot of the group of friends...we love it! Campbell even went to her first almost-slumber party to celebrate Cassie's birthday!

I hope to post more frequently now. :) I've gotta keep everyone updated on our little blessing!
